General information

As a self-employed software developer, I exclusively use the following services to support my business activities:

  • Hetzner hosting
  • sevDesk accounting software
  • IONOS Mail Archive
  • Infomaniak kDrive, Mail, Domains, Video & Chat

These services are only used for their respective functions. No other tracking or analytics services are used. No personal data is collected through cookies, pixels or other tools.

Server log files

The hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits. This includes:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest: error-free presentation and optimisation of the website).

SSL / TLS encryption

For security reasons this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. Transmitted data, such as orders or inquiries, therefore cannot be read by third parties. You can recognise it by “https://” and the lock icon in your browser.

Contact form, email, phone or fax

If you contact us, your details (name, contact details, message) are stored for the purpose of handling your inquiry. Data is only passed on with your consent.

Legal basis:

  • Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – for contractual or pre-contractual measures
  • Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest in handling inquiries effectively
  • Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR – based on consent, which can be withdrawn at any time

Your data remains with us until you request its deletion, withdraw your consent or the purpose no longer applies. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

Unless a specific storage period is stated in this policy, personal data remains with us until the purpose of processing no longer applies or a deletion request or withdrawal of consent is made. Statutory retention periods, e.g. under German commercial or tax law, remain unaffected.
