Digital products that work.
Design & development from Cologne.

Companies bring me in when a digital product no longer works the way it should: the frontend slows down every new feature, users don't reach their goal or releases take too long. As an interface designer and software engineer I find the cause and build the solution myself, since 2014 and with AI wherever it makes me faster.

In my full-time role at BarmeniaGothaer I work as a Senior Software Engineer and Architect on merging two customer portals with millions of users. I bring that experience to your project as a freelancer.

How I help

Problem

Your frontend slows down every new feature

Code that grew over years, outdated frameworks and nobody dares to touch it anymore. I modernize step by step while your product keeps running.

Problem

Your users don't reach their goal

Drop-offs, support requests and frustrated employees. I find the spots where your application slows users down and fix them.

Problem

Every team builds its own buttons

Inconsistent interfaces, duplicate work and endless back and forth between design and development. I build a design system that connects both.

Problem

Your application keeps users waiting

Long loading times, janky interfaces and poor Core Web Vitals. I find the causes and make your application measurably faster.

Problem

Before every release someone clicks through everything

Test rounds that take days, bugs that come back and releases that slip. I automate your tests so you can ship more often and more safely.

Problem

Your software doesn't talk to AI agents yet

Agents struggle through your interface or fail at it. With MCP and WebMCP your product gets an interface that agents understand.

Problem

Your cloud bill grows faster than your product

A small service on a server, database, analytics subscription and CMS that together cost many times what it needs. I simplify what can be simplified.
